Do we STILL have any privacy?
I guess many of the Instagram users would not actually read carefully about their legal terms of use of proprietary rights, including myself until I googled the facts of Instagram. In fact, they have the perpetual right to sell users’ photographs without any payment to the owners as this is under a new policy implemented by their management few years ago. In another words, they can sell your pictures all around the world but owe you nothing which is a severe problem for those who are really valuing copyrights. However, from the moment you posted something on Instagram, the photographs are belong to the social media for instant, Facebook also has the right to sell the photos owed by any Instagram users under two sections of terms of policy. Although this may be a controversial act implemented but we do really ACCEPT the terms and conditions before starting the apps, hence be wise on choosing which photos to be uploaded and also show out a personal logo or even a short statement onto the photos so as to indicate the origins of YOUR photos. This is very important to prevent any conflicts about the copyright issues as those platforms have already assumed their rights of using the photographs are being accepted by the users from the moment you click a tick on the box.
