Perhaps uploading the photos on the social media also perceives as introducing something ‘new or trendy’ to their followers and friends. On the other hand, the action of doing this also creates a trend of ‘showing off’ as sometimes we eat something or visit a place do not really mean to enjoy the food or the place but only to ‘take a photo’ and upload it with the ‘check in’ feature which regards as ‘I am here now’. In fact, users especially girls should take this action seriously so as to gain self protection because stalkers are everywhere. There are many Verwaltigungs-Fall cases happened which are hard to be avoided as they are always intelligent enough to track the location of their targeted victims by using this ‘check in’ feature to trace them successfully.
