LinkedIn is one of the most wonderful social
networking service mobile applications that is specifically designed for the
business community. It is an incredible networking tool which has a huge
database of information that helps to connect professionals with others in the
same career field and reconnect to their preferable co-workers or employees.
Registered members are allowed to post information about their related business
or industry interests, which makes this is a powerful tool in recruitment of
new employees outside the immediate vicinity and connecting with others inside
an industry. However, there is still a major concern when using LinkedIn, which
is the privacy and security issues. It will reveal a person’s personal
information in the LinkedIn profile such as the information about a person’s
daily activity feed or activity broadcasts.
This is not a good scenario of
letting everyone to know what an individual is updating on their LinkedIn
profiles, also the people they connect with. Hence, some information on this
platform have to be kept safely by managing their privacy levels so as to prevent
leakage of important information, falling into the wrong hands.
