Collaborator hijacking is more malicious than spam pins. If you do not have many followers then you are probably safe from it. Pinterest allows the collaboration of its boards. To add someone into your board, you just have to follow one of their boards and then invite for collaboration on the "Edit Board" screen.
Situation can be worse as collaborators could be added without their consent like for an example on a famous personality. They can then start pinning inappropriate content on the board.
